My name is Lesley Green and I am an Acupuncture and Bowen therapist based in Hartlepool offering treatment sessions for people living in the Teesside and Durham area. I am a qualified nurse with over 35 years’ experience having worked in a variety of senior nursing roles in the NHS.

I first become interested in acupuncture whilst working as a Nurse Consultant in Benign Bowel Disease and Stoma Care and became a Licenced Medical Acupuncturist and member of the British Academy of Western Medical Acupuncture in 2008.

Whilst working at Teesside Hospice I became aware of the Bowen Technique, a holistic therapy offering a non-invasive hands on approach and qualified as an accredited practitioner with the College of Bowen Studies in 2018.

My aim is to achieve the best possible outcomes by providing a full consultation with detailed assessment and tailored treatment plan. I am passionate about Acupuncture and Bowen Therapy having achieved positive results for clients I have helped, as demonstrated in the testimonials below.

Bowen Technique

The Bowen technique is a holistic approach to pain relief and injury recovery, claiming to tap into the body’s blueprint and reset the body to heal itself. The potential for recovery is stimulated by a series of gentle moves over muscles and tendons on specific areas of the body. Usually a patient needs no more than three or four sessions.
